This morning I woke up and decided to take a break from the “real world.” No news for sure and anything else that goes along with it. For the next three days I will focus on my mental, spiritual and physical health. This is my version of a spiritual retreat. Sitting in silence for hours or staying silent even for one day is not for me, but I can disconnect from the outside world, OK, not completely disconnect. I mean only look for positive things to focus on. I think I will benefit reading and listening to spiritual teachers, including Buddhist teachers. When I find something that really resonates with me, I will share it with you.
